A result of the internet, IMO. Anyone who is 35 or younger is most likely to say something like that. Primarily those who don't quite "fit in" to societal norms. I mean, why deal with interacting with real live people, face to face when you can hide behind a computer screen and be whoever you want to be with no reprercussions?

I'd push that age down to 29 or 30. That's the tail end of people that didn't really benefit from having the Internet in college.
