Just when you start to have faith in people's intelligence, some folks and politicians are freaking out over the new .xxx domain names.

The argument is pretty stupid. It creates a "red light district" for porn. Uh, have these idiots been on the Internet lately? The porn is already there. The appeal of this new top-level domain is that it makes it really easy to identify it. You'd think the White House of all places would get this, seeing as how whitehouse.com is a porn site. Filtering an entire top-level domain sure makes an easy decision for parents!
