People were running around in shorts and t-shirts today on campus. Five days ago you wouldn't even think of leaving without a few layers on. Ohio weather never ceases to amaze me.

Weather is weather. Lake effect is something to behold, but so are those nor'easters when the wind blows warm off the Atlantic and meets up with an Alberta Clipper.

Although, living on the east side of Michigan, our lake effect is not nearly as much as those on the west side, every now and then a low pressure system will spin across Lake Erie and the back side, with winds blowing from the north east can dump some pretty heavy snow onto us when meeting up with colder air meeting up with it from the west.
