Wow... Panasonic is really pushing the cost of good high definition gear down. I realize this doesn't include the lens, but sub-$30,000 with 2/3" CCD's for this kind of capability sure is a good deal...

I wonder if this is the camera my local Fox tv station just bought all of the cameramen for field reporting. They will be the first tv station in Washington to be completely (field, studio and traffic reports) in high def. I can't wait to see the blood stained pavement of a murder in Washington, D.C.
