All of this 9/11 commission nonsense is pointless. They're asking the wrong questions. We know how it happened... intelligence failure and a lack of communication between different agencies.

The real question people should be asking is why it happened. Two and a half years of Bush's bullshit "they hate freedom" crap is getting old. Obviously people hate us, and there's a good chance it has to do with what we did or didn't do in terms of global affairs.

When will someone ask those questions?

Well, not in this in this commission. In a nutshell, I think the reality is that we might be just as shady as those imperial Arab countries.

I enjoy the people who say that Clinton should have gotten Bin Laden after the embassy bombings. Clinton did drop some bombs, but remember that he was being impeached. The republicans came out blasting him for diverting attention. 9/11 happened, let's learn from it and stop placing blame.

I agree Draker. It sucked, but I fail to see major steps that we, as a country, could have took to prevent the hatred of our country amoung 'those' other countries.

I also fail to see how blaming someone is going to help the overall situation.
