Where are the people who are in the middle of the creative curve?

It seems that for the most part there are creative people and there are technical people. Few people are both. Even fewer are great in both areas, and therefore often fail to achieve a high level of understanding for what it takes to execute on something both creative and technical. That's frustrating.

And by the way, I'm not claiming to position myself anywhere on that curve in particular.

I think creativity is completely relative. It exists in all facets of life. I, personally, would never place creativity on any kind of spectrum.

There are absolutely people who are more creative than others. I don't think it's relative at all. My point has more to do with the fact that so few people who are highly creative are also highly technical. Some people's creativity even seems to be an impediment to grasping technology. I mean, Elton John suggested we just "unplug" the entire Internet.

I coded and sold a computer game when I was 14. I have an Honors degree in English and was a Research Fellow studying Ulster-Scots literature. I think it's possible to be both, but it's difficult to do both well, yeah.

It can be really frustrating to get a web design from someone who has never built a web page.
