I was totally out of the gaming loop for a few years, and sold my PS2 without any thought of replacing it with a new console. Then I really looked at Wii. I didn't get a Gamecube, mostly because it never interested me. Wii, OTOH, really does. Esp. with the backwards compatibility and lineup of old Nintendo & Sega games available. I was always a Nintendo fanboy.
