We finally got some rain yesterday and into today up here in Cleveland. Looks like Fay wanted to see a little of the Great Lakes on her travel up the country. I'm not going to complain about the weather we have been having in August, but things were starting to look really dry around here. Most of the flowers are looking pretty sad right now and all the lawns have turned brown and crunchy. Maybe this little bit of water can put some life back into the landscape before the fall colors arrive. It can stay raining like this, steady rain with no wind, for a little bit more. It has to be gone by Sunday though for my mom's BBQ. It won;t be much fun if everyone is cooped up in the house for a nice end of summer party.
